Air Pressure Testing

We provide a co-ordinated service for air pressure testing, performing it in tandem alongside SAPs and EPCs. This removes the administrative burden from our clients and ensures an efficient production of Energy Performance Certificates and final Building Control Certification.

Part L1A of the current Building Regulations require air pressure testing to be performed so that air leakage is limited. Poor air tightness can be responsible for up to 40% of heat loss, making it even more important that the specialist consultants here at Environmental Economics carry out a full pressure test to ensure permeability.

If the air pressure test fails for any reason then we’ll be on hand to offer full advice regarding the areas of leakage and the appropriate remedial work that is needed.
